Credit Cards

Congress passed a law back in May now referred to as the Credit Card Act. The intent was to stop the credit card companies from taking advantage of consumers by putting an end to some of the crazy practices that the companies had come up with in the interest of making money. A funny thing has now happened. Most of the big credit card companies are getting out of the business, leaving many credit card holders basically stranded. What the big companies decided was that they couldn't make the money they wanted under the new terms, so they are trying to push all their customers somewhere else.

Here at OFCU, we welcome you with open arms! Our credit card never had the funny stuff associated with it, and actually we just improved it by offering a Rewards program now. If you compare the OFCU Visa Platinum card with what is currently available, you'll find our card is nearly unbeatable. Find a card provider that gives you all this:

  • No annual fee
  • 25 day grace period on purchases
  • No cash advance fee at OFCU ATM's or Branches
  • No balance transfer fee
  • Zero liability on fraudulent transactions
  • 24/7 Member service and lost/stolen reporting
  • Free e-statements
  • Rates as low as 11.96% APR
  • With or without rewards

At OFCU, we're not trying to push a credit card on you, but we realize a credit card is sometimes a necessary financial tool. If you're going to have one, you should have the best one on the market. OFCU has the best credit card on the market. If you need one, or your card provider left you hanging, stop in or call OFCU today. I know it will be worth your time.
