Season's Greetings

On behalf of everyone here at OFCU, I would like to wish Season's Greetings to all our members out there.

It's been a difficult year for most of the nation, but it appears we've worked our way through the toughest times seen in almost 70 years. Although things can and will improve, I truly believe the worst is behind us. For this part of the country, it appears we dodged some of the really bad news that struck other areas of the United States.

As a country, we have always persevered. While there are some major decisions and issues facing us, we will continue to lead the world. Times are a changing, but so does the U.S.

I hope everyone out there gets to spend some quality time with their friends and family this season. The staff and volunteers here at the credit union are truly thankful for the loyal and dedicated members that we have.

Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays!

Yes, it's that time of the year again, where we can all do our part to help the economy. Just go out and spend your money on gifts for your friends and family.

I saw my daughter the other day, and she asked what I was doing. I told her I had been out Christmas shopping. She asked if I got anything for her. I said "no", but we got something for your daughter (my granddaughter). I said "don't you realize now that you're a parent, no one buys for you anymore, it's all for your child now." She laughed, and I think she then realized that she wasn't a kid anymore, she had somehow morphed into an adult. That's what parenthood does to you. You are no longer the center of attention. It's all about the little ones now.

If you find yourself a little strapped for cash this holiday season, stop into OFCU and talk to one of our loan officers. Maybe we can help you with a personal loan, as low as 9.99% APR, or even get you one of the best credit cards on the market now, the OFCU Visa Platinum Card, starting as low as 11.96% APR, with no annual fee, no cash advance fee at our ATM's and branches, 25 day grace period on purchases, and no balance transfer fee. Whatever you're in need of, stop by one of our 6 convenient branches to see what OFCU can do for you!
