Ok, it's time to get back to work. Vacation was great and all, but coming back to a couple hundred emails and a bunch of voice messages is always something I look forward to!
Although the beach was great, and the weather was actually pretty good, the most exciting thing that happened over the last week, was that I became a grandfather! I know, I know, how could someone who looks as young as me already be a grandfather. Well, the truth is, I had my children young, and now that leads me to being a youthful grandfather. Now the hard part is coming up with a name for my granddaughter to call me. Granddad, Grandpa, Pappy, Gramps, not really sure, I think I'm leaning towards Pee Paw. Whatever it turns out to be, I will ultimately be the coolest grandfather on the planet. I don't know if it has really sunk in yet, probably when she starts calling me by my granddaddy nickname, otherwise, it's time to start spoiling her. I already bought her a Houston Texans item, more of that to come. It's never too early to start brainwashing them into becoming a fan of the same team as you. There are so many misguided sports fans out there, I really don't want her to get caught up with the wrong group of people and become, you know, a Cowboys fan or something.
I guess I'm headed down a new road in my life, but one things for sure, when my granddaughter starts to wear me out, I can just send her home to her parents!
