Wooohoooo! I bought my new cellphone.
Now I have an even bigger problem. I don't know how to use it. Even after reading the instructions I'm having difficulty. It looks really cool. And it takes photos, so I don't feel like I'm still in the Stone Ages, but it took me 20 minutes to figure out how to text. And all my contact numbers aren't in the new phone, so I'm still manually dialing all the numbers. Technology, sometimes it can save you time, sometimes it takes all your time! It's kind of like back in the day when you bought a VCR and you couldn't set the time on it. I think I still have one plugged in that's blinking 00:00. (OK, I know you're thinking why I even still have a VCR in the house). One of the cool things about the phone is I have internet access. It still amazes me that I can walk around with this little thing and I can check sports scores from around the world. I still argue that the best thing the internet did was make sports information simple to access. True sports nuts can get any score, anytime, anywhere, and with same time results. During the Olympics, I would go to the sports bar, and while everyone was cheering on the US team, I would simply say, we win by 20. All the games were tape delayed, so I would get the results way before the game ever aired. But I digress.
Anyway, if you have a 9 year old that can help me program my cell phone and understand all the incredible features it offers, have them email me. I'm guessing that will be the easiest way to get this phone in working order.
Have a great weekend!
Greg
